Deadline extended to Oct. 21 for student community service, service-learning grants

Purdue’s Office of Engagement is extending the application deadline for its community service and service-learning grants to Oct. 21 due to technical issues with its grant database. Updates on the database will be provided on the Service Learning Grants webpage.

The Office of Engagement provides grants to students and student organizations for work on community service-learning projects. The program's goal is to expand the community involvement of Purdue students in partnership with communities, nonprofit agencies, schools and governmental bodies.

The application and guidelines for the Student Grant Program for Community Service/Service Learning Projects can be found online.

Applicants will be notified no later than Oct. 28. Inquiries can be directed to Lisa Duncan, Purdue Office of Engagement, at 765-494-0899 or llduncan@purdue.edu.
